Who can enter?
This competition is intended for those training or working as nail technicians. The competition is open to the following levels:
Intermediate: those undertaking qualifications up to level 2 or up to two years experience in a working environment.
Advanced: those undertaking qualifications up to level 3 or up to four years experience in a working environment.
About the competition
Competitors will be expected to demonstrate their skills and creative flair for nail enhancements. In the competition competitors must create a commercially acceptable nail enhancement using fibreglass or silk, tip and overlay of any system for intermediate and sculptured nails using gel or acrylic for the advanced.
Competitors will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Interpretation of the theme
- Precision and technical application
- Artistic interpretation and execution
- Health, safety and hygiene
Competition structure
Stage three: highest scoring competitors across all heats that meet the required standard will be invited to compete at the UK final.
How many competitors can enter from each organisation?
One competitor per level, per organisation.
