Who can enter?
The competition is intended for teams of eight competitors working towards relevant programmes of study in public services. The competition is open to the following level:
Advanced: those undertaking qualifications up to level 3 or up to two years experience in a working environment.
About the competition
This physically demanding competition is ideally suited to those preparing to enter one of the uniformed services. Competition activities will vary according to heats and the availability of local public services. The competition will test competitors’ skills in important aspects of the job role.
Competitors will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Fitness
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- Problem solving
Competition structure
Stage one: enter online by 19 March 2010.
Stage two: competitors will be invited to participate in a live heat.
Stage three: highest scoring competitors across all heats that meet the required standard will be invited to compete at the UK final.
How many competitors can enter from each organisation?
Eight competitors per team. One team per organisation.
